Philadelphia Security Training Requirements (2026)

Philadelphia has introduced new minimum training standards for security officers under Chapter 9-6800. While enforcement is still being finalized, future requirements include:

• 12 hours of initial training within 90 days of hire
• 8 hours of annual refresher training
• Additional training for high-security environments
